The product is listed on the SAP Appendix Q accredited register for products that can demonstrate reductions in carbon emissions as calculated for Part L of the Building Regulations, as well as being recognised by the Energy Saving Trust as best practice.
Xcell 270 uses the latest generation of counterflow heat-recovery cells, which can achieve a heat-recovery efficiency of up to 95%.
There is a choice of 12 speeds for the fans, of which three would normally be selected for an installation based on the required duty. A remote 3-speed selector switch is provided with the unit.
These units are housed in an insulated steel cabinet with powder coating and high-density-foam insulation. The built-in double-sided condensate tray has a choice of drain positions. They can be installed in a loft and have a wall hanging bracket.
