Pushbutton tap requires only a gentle touch

Requiring only a light touch to start a timed water flow — Douglas-Delabie’s Temposoft tap range.
Douglas-Delabie’s Temposoft range of timed-flow push basin mixers and taps required only gentle force to operate them compared with other timed-flow taps. Temposoft closes after about 15 s and has a regulated flow rate of 4 l/min — providing a water saving of about 70% compared with a traditional basin tap. Other features include scaleproof aerato and reinforced fixing to prevent tap swivel. One variation, the Temposoft AB, does not deliver water until the soft-touch button has been released to prevent deliberate flooding of the washroom area. The mixer version has a manual temperature selector on the side and a regulated flow rate of 6 l/min, stainless steel-flexible connectors with filters and non-return check valves and stop cocks, and reinforced fixing. Temposoft products have been tested in excess of 500 000 cycles.
