The large temporary cooling needs of the international broadcasting centre at the Beijing Olympic Games will be met using rented chillers from Carrier.
The international broadcasting centre for the Olympic Games in Beijing will be cooled using 22 Carrier air-cooled chillers supplied on the basis of a rental contract. During the games, the broadcasting centre will operate 24 hours a day and requires a large amount of temporary cooling. The Carrier chillers include eight Aquasnap Puron 30RB air-cooled scroll chillers and 14 Aquaforce 30XA air-cooled screw chillers. The refrigerants are R410A and R134a.
