Individual central heating for flats without individual boilers

Armstrong’s Tenantherm unit gives flats in apartment blocks individual control of their heating and instantaneous hot water while served from central boiler plant, avoiding the installation and operational problems associated with a gas-fired boiler in each flat — including not requiring a CORGI-registered installer. Tenantherm heat-exchange interfaces are pre-assembled and tested for quick and straightforward installation and couple with Armstrong’s MBS heating solution to provide a complete system that requires only final connections on site. Units can be supplied in a white powder-coated steel cabinet or supplied chassis mounted for installing in a duct or pipe rise cupboard. Energy and/or water usage can be metered at each interface. options for reading meters include manual, optical, radio or centralised BMS using M-bus. Depending on the size of unit, the hot water flow is 12, 15 or 17 l/min with a 40 K temperature rise.
