Voice sounders protect the London Transport Museum

To assist safe evacuation from the London Transport Museum, Vimpex Fire-Cryer voice sounders have been installed.
The London Transport Museum in Covent Garden has installed Vimpex Fire-Cryer voice sounders to raise alarms. A mixture of wall-mounted standard Fire-Cryers and large bracket-mounted Maxi Fire-Cryers have been installed to ensure clarity of speech during evacuation. This project follows the use of these voice sounders at London Underground stations for many years. Dozens of sites in London use these voice sounders. They are particularly popular in public licensed premises, where it has been proved that a voice alert is much more effective at evacuating the public than sound alone.
