Radio-Tech wireless system monitors water consumption

Using Radio-Tech’s Smart View device has enables a retired couple in Weymouth to reduce water consumption by 39%. Within a month of the display being installed in their third-floor flat, average daily water consumption had been reduced from 222 to 136 litres.

Smart View uses a battery-powered sensor on the water meter to send a signal wirelessly to a portable display, enabling Ian and Jean Reekie to identify major uses of water. The system also provides a means of checking for water leaks.
