Condensing modular boiler first for Ideal Commercial Heating

Ideal Commercial Heating, condensing boiler, Evomod

Ideal Commercial Heating has added modular condensing boilers to its floor-standing range for the first time. Evomod boilers come as 250 kW modules that can be stacked up to three units high in a steel frame to give an output of 750 kW. Up to four units can be combined to deliver 1000 kW. They have a seasonal efficiency of up to 95.9% gross and a turndown ratio of 5:1 per module, or 20:1 for an assemble of four boilers. NOx emissions are below 40 mg/kWh for maximum BREEAM points.

These compact units (860 mm high, 710 mm wide and 1340 mm deep) will pass through a standard doorway.

Ease of installation is facilitated by connections for flue, system pipework, gas and electricity all being to the rear of the unit. Operation is made simple by a single boiler control interface with a large backlit LCD display and English text.

Other features include built-in module diagnostics, sequencing and BMS control, plus hours run, volt-free run and alarm contacts, and frost protection.

The heat exchanger is of stainless steel. Options include flow, return and gas headers, including module isolation valves and ducted air supply.

There is a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
