Warm-air heaters are compatible with transpired solar panels

Space heating, Stokvis, warm air heater

Stokvis Econo-Air gas-fire heating and ventilation systems are available for direct and indirect gas firing and have been developed for large open interior spaces such as warehouses, factories, sports centres and theatres. A choice of air-distribution heads gives the option of ductless air distribution, eliminating the need for complex ductwork and high-level destratification fan units. They are compatible with transpired solar panels and qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances.

Where ductwork is required, systems can be configured to allow for resistances of up to 2 kPa, making them suitable for air-induction systems.

Direct-fired units have outputs from 15 to 900 kW and deliver a fixed rate of heated fresh air.

Indirect units have outputs from 30 to 1200 kW.

VAV models supply 100% fresh air at all times, with the volume adjusted automatically in response to pressure or temperature sensors.

Variable air recirculating models provide constant air volume with up to 80% recirculated air for high energy efficiency. The proportion of recirculated air can be preset and is adjusted automatically.

Units are supplied with an integrated control package designed for the installation.
