NG Bailey starts training apprentices to win work

NG Bailey, apprentice

NG Bailey has expanded its apprentice training programme with the launch of a bid and proposals apprenticeship to help develop the company’s approach to winning work. The first four students have embarked on the 3-year apprenticeship, said to be an industry first. It will develop their understanding of the bid and proposal lifecycle and provide them with first-hand experience of work-winning techniques.

To ensure a robust and relevant programme, NG Bailey partnered with John Laing Training, providers of the advanced City & Guilds certification and the Association of Proposals Management Professionals to design and develop the apprenticeship.

Amanda Nuttall, head of proposals, says, ‘The programme will provide the apprentices with all the skills they need to progress in the exciting field of bidding and winning work.
