Cofely looks after more types of plant

Cofely has been awarded a contract by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to provide services across its estates. — including Kew Gardens and the 190 ha Wakehurst Place. The partnership will see Cofely delivering a wide range of M&E and fabric maintenance.

Buildings in the care of Cofely include the Palm House (a Victorian glasshouse), the Herbarium (which houses over 7 million specimens and plays a central role in plant diversity on Earth) and the Millennium Seed Bank (a new building that focuses on global plant life face with the threat of extinction and plants of most use for the future).

Cofely’s team of 27 will travel around the extensive rounds using bespoke bicycles and electric vehicles.
