UK ventilation manufacturer EnviroVent marked the production of its millionth Filterless Extract Fan by presenting a special-edition gold version to Fife Council. These fans are designed for the social-housing sector and have been produced for 12 years. The company estimates that over 25 000 are in operation in properties owned by Fife Council since 2004.

The requirement for filtration has been designed out to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted flow of air through the fan.
