Remeha’s new boiler meets challenges of St Davids Cathedral

With all four boilers in St Davids Cathedral in Pembrokeshire beginning to fail, Andrew Thomas of contractor G. G. Thomas & Son recommended replacing them with just two of the newly launched Quinta Ace boiler from Remeha Commercial. These boilers can be wall-hung or cascaded and have an output of 160 kW.

The large output and small size of these boilers overcame the problem of the small plant room at the cathedral, requiring only fraction of the space of other boilers.

Andrew Thomas said,’ Taking onto account the output required to heat the cathedral, the space constraints of the plant room and the fabric of the building, the Remeha Quinta Ace 160 was the most suitable boiler for this project. Such a compact boiler with such a high output.’
