No let up on poor pump performance under MEES

MEES, Grundfos

The MEES (Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards) are now in force and landlords need to be aware that the fixed services involving the HVAC - including pumps - are very much in the spotlight in terms of their contribution to the overall energy rating.

Grundfos are typically able to achieve savings of 30-50% for customers via an Energy Check, which points the way to optimal pump replacement for efficiency. An updated pump not only saves energy, but also reduces likely down-time.

An upgraded pump system is a highly cost-effective way for older buildings to achieve lower energy use and also improve overall performance of other systems such as heating and cooling.
