Manchester Kampus win for Briggs & Forrester

Briggs & Forrester, Kampus, Manchester, multi-use

Briggs & Forrester Living is installing services including heating, cooling and lighting protection for the new mixed use Kampus development in Manchester.

The £250 million project is being developed to create a new ‘cultural spot’ in the heart of the city on a former Manchester Metropolitan University site. The next phase will include the refurbishment of Grade II listed buildings to create 58 apartments, restaurants and small retail units.

Briggs & Forrester Living won the contract last year and will be working alongside contractors Anvil. Duncan Benedetti, managing director of Living, says: “This fantastic project will transform and regenerate this historic area of Manchester and bring it back into full use for the community.”

Completion is due in summer of 2020.
