High-output luminaire is a smash-hit for sports halls

luminaire
330 W of light for sports halls is provided by Serve 6 luminaires from Whitecroft Lighting, reducing the number of fittings required.
To meet growing demands for luminaires in sports halls with higher light outputs, Whitecroft Lighting has introduced the Serve 6 fitting. They use six 55 W TC-L lamps. Serve 6 meets CIBSE LG4 guidelines and has a low profile to minimise intrusion into areas with low ceiling heights. They can also be used in warehouses, factories and distribution centres. Serve 6 uses Micro 4 reflectors and has a punched grille to provide protection and prevent shuttlecocks from lodging. This grille is hinged for ease of maintenance. Lockable lamp holders ensure lamps stay in position if the fitting is hit by a ball. The control gear is housed in separate pods so that it can operate in temperatures up to 35°C, even in the emergency version. These fittings can be surface mounted or suspended. They can also be used in warehouses, factories and distribution centres.
