The power of computer-aided facilities management for smaller organisations

Software to address the needs of facilities managers in small to medium-sized enterprises is available from Mass Systems. FM Desktop is a computer-aided facilities-management system built from a suite of scalable products using industry-standard components (AutoCAD and Microsoft Access) to help manage facilities drawings, data, assets and occupants, graphically. Designed to address the four major functions of facilities management (space and asset management, project management, emergency management and maintenance management), FM Desktop comprises four modular components to enable organisations to tailor a solution to the needs and budget. FM Desktop can be installed on a stand-alone PC, used across a network or via the Internet.
