Philips offers more LED alternatives to GLS and halogen lamps

Philips

Philips has launched the second generation of its successful Master LED family of lamps with a further extension of the range which offers a direct replacement for incandescent and halogen lamps. Their electrical consumption is up to 80% less than incandescent lamps. The range also offers 4 W alternatives for 12 V low-voltage spotlights in which 20 W halogen lamps are normally used.

The latest Master LED range is available in a number of retrofit shapes (A-shape ‘bulb’, NR63 spot and HV halogen GU spots) with a variety of cap fittings. They are also available in type MR16 LV with a warmer colour temperature (3000 and 2700 K).

The entire HV range is dimmable, and the LV version has a 2-step dimmable function in selected installations.

The range will be further extended later this year to include a 100% retrofit LED candle and lustre (clear and frosted versions) to replace the frosted GLS candles and lustres. The range will also include a 100% retrofit LED PAR 38 in outdoor and indoor versions and an LED PAR 30.
