R410A successor to Totaltest

Quick checks for acid and moisture in R410A systems can be carried out with Carrier’s Totaltest 2 kit.

An acid and moisture testing kit for R410A systems that does not require oil samples has been introduced by Carrier Air Conditioning. Totaltest 2 can be used with both air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The risk of compressor failure can be avoided by testing, and Totaltest 2 takes just 90 s to check for moisture contamination. It connects to the suction-side service fitting of a system without the need to shut it down.
