Data-centre specialist opens new office in London

Sudlows, which specialises in the design and build of data centres, has opened a new London office. It is headed up by James Cole, who has joined the company as specialist projects director. He has an extensive consultancy background and experience in the data-centre industry and will work with company directors John Collins, Chris Dummett and Andy Hirst to build the strategic direction and reputation of the company’s new data-centre division.

The company is currently working with Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridgeshire, Medway Council and web-hosting company Datanet in Hampshire and reports a strong order book for 2011.

James Cole says, ‘It’s terrifically exciting to take on this new role. I’m very much looking forward to working with the Sudlows team to lead these influential projects and explore new prospects. Sudlows have an excellent reputation and a compelling business offering, which will allow us to forge new and innovative ways of building energy-efficient data-centre and communication platforms across all business sectors.’
