Galvanised steel-wire cable tray is designed for data-centre market

Marco Cable Management, galvanised steel wire cable tray, galvanized

Marco now offers a pre-galvanised finish in its range of steel-wire cable tray. The continuous hot-dip galvanised finish addresses the needs of the data-centre market by offering an alternative specification to electro-zinc plating. This cable tray has a smooth grey finish and at least 12 µm of galvanising to offer protection against corrosion on cut surfaces due to the cathodic effect between zinc and steel.

The company’s Steve Davis says, ‘There are very few manufacturers offering this finish as it will appeal to a very specific market. By launching this product, we are now able to deliver a full spectrum of data-centre solutions through the finishes available in our steel-wire cable tray range.’
