The services fit-out for one of London’s most spectacular residential developments is to be carried out by J. S. Wright. New Capital Quay at Greenwich Reach, close to the site of the London 2012 Olympics, is in a world heritage site on the south side of the River Thames and fronted on three sides by the river. The £3 million contract to service all 980 private luxury and affordable apartments was awarded by Galliard Homes.

The development comprises 12 blocks with homes from one to three bedrooms.

J. S. Wright has begun fitting a series of eco-friendly heat-generating equipment, including a bio-diesel boiler, natural-gas CHP and 12 natural-gas condensing boilers.

The company is also installing primary and secondary low-temperature hot water and boosted cold-water services to connection points in the risers.

This contract follows the completion of 226 affordable apartments and a 158-bedroom Premier Inn at Greenwich Commercial Centre for Galliard Homes last year.
