BSS cyclists raise funds for Help for Hospices

BSS

A team of cyclists from BSS Industrial has raised over £7000 for Help for Hospices after cycling 260 miles from Brussels to Frankfurt in three days. Despite having to cycle well into the night on one day, all the cyclists safely crossed the finishing line at Frankfurt Cathedral.

Managing director Frank Elkins, pictures fourth from left, said, ‘These fund-raising trips have become an annual event. It’s something we’re particularly proud of as it brings together senior staff and suppliers to raise money for a very worthy cause.’

Previous charity bike rides include riding through five countries in 60 hours in 2011, Paris to Brussels in 2010 and a 3-day ride from London to Paris in 2009.
