Grundfos pumps improve performance at Gordonstoun School

Grundfos Pumps, pipes, pipework

Contributing to the efficiency of the upgraded boilerhouse at Gordonstoun School, which had remained unchanged for 20 years, are ultra-efficient pumps from the Grundfos Magna range of circulators. The school appointed HWEnergy, a biomass heat specialist, which worked with Grundfos Pumps to deliver the bespoke pump solution.

The upgrade also includes a ready-to-install packaged pump skid comprising two TPE 80-400/2 energy-efficient pumps, delivered complete with suction/discharge heads and an auto-changeover panel.

The new pumps have much lower running costs and CO2 emissions.
