Fujitsu introduces control software for smaller VRF systems

Fujitsu has introduced a controls software package for VRF installations in small and medium-sized buildings that is less than half the price of its standard system. It can control up to 400 indoor units, compared with up to 1600 for the standard PC-based system controller.

Called System Controller Lite, it is PC-based and aimed at offices, shops, homes, schools, restaurants, nursing homes and similar buildings. Its capabilities include operational control and monitoring, error history and notification annual scheduling, and room/remote controller prohibition to lock out certain functions.

Optional features include apportioning electricity charges to multiple tenants, remote access through the Internet and energy-saving management.
