Airbloc air curtain on the menu at university café

AmbiRad, Airbloc, air curtain, space heating

Protecting the entrance of this new café building at the Ambleside campus of the University of Cumbria against draughts entering from outside when the doors are opened is a Airbloc air curtain from AmbiRad. The door way faces west and is in a exposed location.

Aesthetic requirements are met by finishing the unit in brushed stainless steel to continue the rhythm of natural metal and wood surfaces and textures across the café. The air curtain has a 24 kW coil fed by the existing LPHW system and was installed by PK Engineering.
