‘Designer’ radiators made from recycled aluminium

Made from recycled aluminium and 40% smaller than conventional steel-panel radiators — the Decoral Ten from MHS.

MHS’s Decoral Ten radiators are made from recycled aluminium and are 40% smaller than conventional steel-panel radiators of the same heat output. Ian Bradley, managing director of MHS radiators, explains, ‘Nearly four million tonnes of aluminium were scrapped in the EU during 2004, so recycling the material can only be positive for the environment.’ To protect internal surfaces from corrosion, these radiators use a 2-process system and an artificially strengthened oxide coating.
