"Modern Building Services" adds financial support to CIBSE student-bursary scheme

The student-bursary scheme operated by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers to encourage more people to embark on careers in building-services engineering has a vital role to play in helping to provide the expertise needed for the future. The latest Building Regulations give much more responsibility and greater opportunities for imaginative engineers to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings in the UK and tackle the issue of Climate Change. That is why Modern Building Services is pleased to support the CIBSE student-bursary scheme, and we are committing ourselves to finance a bursary. Our contribution will help support a named student during their course, and we will also help enable that student to gain a broader knowledge and understanding of the building-services industry. We hope that our commitment will encourage companies of all kinds in the building-services industry to add their support to the CIBSE student-bursary scheme and thus contribute to the future development of the building-services industry. Companies in the industry can contact CIBSE direct or get in touch with one of the CIBSE regions (see www.cibse.org for full contact details). Modern Building Services can also help bring together companies that might like to share in providing a bursary. Give us a call on tel. 01438 759000 or e-mail bursary@portico.uk.com
