Fast-recovery water heater operates in condensing mode nearly all the time

Lochinvar
Lochinvar’s EcoForce+ gas-fired water heaters combine fast recovery with condensing operation nearly all the time.
Almost continuous condensing operation can be achieved by Lochinvar’s EcoForce+ range of gas-fired water heaters. The feature making this possible is the patented cold-water injection system, which enables them to achieve a thermal efficiency of up to 108% net. and use 10 to 15% less fuel than conventional water heaters. EcoForce+ water heaters are based on the principle of low storage and fast recovery. There are three models with recovery rates from 630 to 950 l/h through 44 K. The stainless-steel water tanks have capacities of 150 and 230 l. These water heaters can be used with natural gas or LPG and are suitable for room-sealed or open-flue installation. Horizontal and vertical balanced-flue assemblies are available, together with 45 and 90° bends. Other features include unvented installation, an anti-legionella function and purposed-designed water-heater controller option.
