Recently completed by Hornagold & Hills is this £30 million research facility for King’s College London.
Hornagold & Hills has completed the construction of the new James Black Centre at King’s College, London. The company was responsible for project management, contract management and client’s representative support on this £30 million, 4-year project. Director David Bird explains, ‘The principal challenge for us was managing a major project in the midst of a fully operational Denmark Hill campus and meeting the needs of multiple users. The hospital facilities located on either side of the new centre placed physical constraints on space and logistics solutions and commercial constraints on budget.’ Hornagold & Hills is part of the Mouchel Parkman group.
