Terry Wyatt becomes a special professor at Nottingham University

Terry Wyatt of Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers and immediate past president of CIBSE has been appointed special professor of building-services engineering in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Nottingham. At Hoare Lea he is a partner responsible for research and development. His interests include the mitigation of climate change, early coupling systems, carbon capture and emissions trading, the development of analytical and system-design techniques to improve indoor air quality and achieving more effective workplace buildings. Prof. Saffa Riffat, head of the School of the Built Environment at the University of Nottingham, says, ‘We are delighted with the appointment of such an eminent person as Terry Wyatt as a special professor. His long life experience in the building-services industry will be most valuable to our staff and students. My colleagues and I are very excited about this appointment and look forward to working with Terry in his new role at the school.’
