New outdoor air-conditioning units from Daikin Europe and quiet and energy efficient.
Daikin Europe’s 2-port Multi heat-pump and cooling-only outdoor air-conditioning units are available in 40 and 50 classes and use R410A. Their energy efficiency has been improved, and they have Class A energy labels. There are two models, both of which can be connected to FTK/XS wall-mounted indoor units and the recently introduced FVXS-F floor-standing units, which also has a power-saving ‘Econo’ mode. These corrosion-resistant outdoor units can been installed on a roof or terrace or against an outside wall. Noise levels are low, and a ‘silent operation’ mode reduces noise levels still further.
