Vaillant air-conditioning units have been chosen for the conversion of a derelict industrial building in Bridlington into a business centre.
Air conditioning for the conversion of a 14 000 m2 office and warehouse building into a state-of-the-art business centre hosting independent light-industrial units and some larger premises is being provided by Vaillant climaVAIR units. The development at Bridlington is owned and managed by Bossdean Properties, and the air-conditioning units were specified and installed by Eco-Mech. Units with cooling capacities of 5 and 6 kW and using R410A refrigerant have been installed. They have an A-rated energy efficiency, hot start, dehumidification, de-ioniser and sleep functions. There are three levels of filtration — anti-microbial, anti-dust and activated carbon. Air delivery can have horizontal and vertical swing. Vaillant offers a comprehensive warranty with its air-conditioning products. If a system should fail during the warranty period for a reason not connected with its installation, Vaillant will send a service engineer to make repairs on behalf of the contractor.
