Lochinvar supplies hot water for the Waterfront in Jersey

Jersey
Hot-water requirements for this Radisson hotel in Jersey are met by Lochinvar combining low storage with fast recovery.
The new Radisson SAS Waterfront Hotel in Jersey has its hot-water requirements met by direct-gas-fired water heaters from Lochinvar. Five Charger CE600 water heaters and five LST166 energy-saving cylinders provide hot water for the 195 bedrooms, plus the health centre and swimming-pool facilities. David Pepper, Lochivar’s managing director, says, ‘Our technical department worked closely with Jersey Gas on this project to ensure the equipment we supplied was suitable for the specific gas type used on the island.’ The Charger range combines low storage and fast recovery of hot water, which is well suited to a large hotel where requirements are subject to peak demands over short periods. The mechanical services were installed by the Bristol office of NG Bailey.
