Ducted VRF unit can be left- or right-handed for hotel rooms

Ducted VRF

A ducted VRF air-conditioning unit for hotel rooms from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe (MHIE) can have its controls and drain-pump connections on either the left- or right-hand side of the unit as required, allowing easy routing of both sets of pipework through a central service shaft. This features simplifies installation in adjoining rooms, where services such as air conditioning are run in pairs through central ducting.

A single unit can be installed either way, making ordering and stock handling simpler. FDUH units are available with cooling capacities of 2.2, 2.8 and 3.6 kW. All sizes come with MHIE’s Superlink II control logic, which allows control and management for the most complex multi-occupancy building with just 2-wire connections to the remote controllers.
