Rotex launches heat pump that can be combined with solar

Rotex

Rotex’s air-to-water heat pump for domestic applications can be combined with its solar products to realise a solar heating system that converts up to 80% of solar energy into heat.

The outdoor unit of the heat-pump system is linked to an internal device that transfers heat into a heat-storage tank linked to the heating and DHW system.

The HybridCube storage tank intelligently adapts to meet demand.

The output of the HPSU can modulate down to 50% of full load.

The design of the HybridCube and its corrosion-free plastic construction is said to eliminate the risk of Legionnaires’ Disease or contamination.
