Celtaire adds air conditioning to temporary classrooms for college in Dorset

Celtaire
Heating and cooling for 23 temporary classrooms in a college in Dorset has been provided by Celtaire using Fujitsu equipment.

Air-conditioned temporary accommodation for students at Bournemouth & Poole College is provided by a 2-storey modular building constructed by County Cabins, with the air conditioning system to provide heating and cooling installed by Celtaire. The buildings are needed to accommodate students during the demolition and rebuilding of part of the college’s Landsdowne campus.

Celtaire’s solution for heating and cooling the 23 classrooms is based on 23 Fujitsu air-conditioning heat pumps rated at 7.1 kW.

Celtaire was also required to conceal the internal pipework to provide more aesthetic surroundings. This was achieved by concealing the pipework in a small ceiling void across the internal corridor to the condensers’ position in an external alleyway. All 23 system are fitted with Sauermann Delta Pack condensate drain pumps.
