Cofely appointed provider of FM services for East London LIFT Co.
Energy-services company Cofely has been appointed as preferred partner for facilities-management delivery by East London LIFT Co. (Local Improvement Finance Trust). Cofely will deliver technical facilities management services such as building maintenance and life-cycle management for any facilities that East London LIFT Co. becomes involved in during the next five years.
In a competitive-tender exercise, East London LIFT Co. worked with construction and property consultancy Cyril Sweett to arrive at a shortlist of four companies, which were then invited to submit proposals and make presentations to a selection steering group headed by Roger Lye, CEO of East London LIFT Co.
He says, ‘We assessed applicants on the basis of their quality and LIFT experience, as well as price, with a weighting of around 70% on quality of delivery and experience and 30% on price. Cofely was the clear, preferred candidate with the best scores for all criteria.’
Cofely also delivers services to LIFTs in Stockport, Sheffield, Dudley, Oxford, Oldham, Bristol and Cornwall.
