Independent heating for homes is served by central plant

Evinox, heating interface unit, space heating

The ModuSat satellite heating unit forms the heart of the Evinox communal heating solution to provide independent, fast-recovery hot water and high-efficiency heating for individual apartments and homes using central boiler plant to eliminate the need for an individual gas supply to each apartment and separate boilers. This approach provides for the integration of renewable heat sources. Evinox can also provide the central plant and building controls.

ModuSat units provide users with the same autonomy as if they had their own boiler and tank. They include a meter for billing energy use and cold-water consumption for each dwelling. Where required, the facility for both heating and cooling can be provided.

Integrated storage in ModuSat units enables the size of centralised plant to be reduced.

ModuSat units are self balancing. The required flow rate is set into the unit before it is put into operation.

The energy meter can be tailored to meet requirements — from a simple read-only meter up to a remote billing solution using bus communication.
