MHS Radiators maintain atmosphere in historic mansion refurbishment

Adding to the period atmosphere of the refurbishment of the 19th-century Rockcliffe Hall in Country Durham are over 120 cast-iron column radiators from MHS Radiators.

The major refurbishment of the 19th-century Grade-2-listed Rockcliffe Hall in County Durham includes over 120 class-iron radiators from MHS Radiators. They are from the Clasico, Burlington, Iconic and Liberty ranges. The hall has been restored and expanded to create a 5-star hotel, golf and spa resort. The £50 million project comprises 61 guest bedrooms, two restaurants, health and beauty spa and meeting rooms. M&E con­sultant was WYG, with Shepherd Engineering Services as con­tractor.

Iconic is a traditional cast-iron column radiators. The classically styled Burlington cast-iron column radiator has a scrolled relief pattern. Clasico column radiators are suited to new heating systems or replacing existing radiators. Liberty radiators have scrolled relief patterns and Victorian appearance.
