Wireless fire-detection system certified to EN54

EMS Fire & Security, wireless fire detection

FireCell from EMS Fire & Security is said to be the UK’s first wireless fire-detection solution that is certified to EN54 Part 25. There is no need for cabling, so a system can be installed quickly. EN54 Part 25 provides CE marking for fire-detection systems using bi-directional radio links instead of cables to communicate within a building. The FireCell system links to over 500 industry-standard sensors units via smart cluster technology to create up to 64 radio clusters.

Maximum coverage is achieved by using diversity reception, multipath techniques and multiple frequencies. Radio interference is thus eliminated because the system can automatically change frequency as needed.

All EMS systems are covered by a 5-year warranty.
