Major BT contract shows confidence in Sabien energy-saving technology

Sabien, boiler

Sabien Technology has won a contract for nearly £1 million for its M2G system for improving energy efficiency by preventing boiler dry cycling. This major contract follows earlier contracts totalling just over £180 000.This latest order represents ongoing phases of M2G installations for BT’s 7500 properties in the UK. The first installations were in 2009, with M2G units retrofitted to existing boiler plant and integrated with existing building-management systems.

Alan O’Brien, Sabien’s chief executive, says, ‘The fact that BT has placed orders worth just under £1 million with us reflects the continuing momentum of business improvement as we move into the final quarter of this year and into 2012. Sabien is now on the radar of leading blue-chip companies with procurement departments which need to know they are investing in proven technology which will pay dividends over the longer term.’
