Fast-moving actuators

Operating speeds as fast as 1.5 s — the Neptronic range of actuators from JS Actuators.

Fast-actuators from JS Actuators can change position in 1.5 s, with the entire range offering speeds of 1.5, 3.5 and 20 s. They are made by Neptronic of the USA. Failsafe and non-failsafe models are available. The failsafe units incorporate the Enerdrive system, which uses super capacitors to store energy to move the actuator to its failsafe position. Traditionally, mechanical springs are used.
