Grundfos supplies pumps for The Shard

The Shard is the latest in a series of skyscraper projects for which Grundfos has supplied pump solutions.

Grundfos has added The Shard to its collection of London skyscrapers for which it has supplied pump solutions. This building by London Bridge Station is 310 m high and has 95 floors. It incorporates a wide range of restaurants, retail space and a spa. There is also a 5-star Shangri-La hotel, luxury residential accommodation and a significant amount of office space. It is topped off by a multi-storey viewing gallery that is expected to attract two million visitors a year.

The previous experience of Grundfos includes Canary Wharf, which, coupled with its track record in delivering a complete and complex pump solution, was an important factor in winning The Shard project. Further contributions to securing this landmark project were Grundfos’s reputation and the reliability and breadth of its product range.
