Imtech completes education projects worth £11 million
Imtech UK has completed two major M&E design-and-installation education projects with a combined value of over £11 million. They are Thomas Clarkson Community College in Cambridgeshire as part of the Building Schools for the Future project and a new teaching facility for Ormiston Bushfield Academy in Peterborough.
The two projects were completed by the group’s Imtech Aqua business. Paul Carless, contracts director, said, ‘We have an excellent working relationship with Kier Eastern, the main contractor for both projects. Kier knows that we will always work to the highest standards and deliver projects on time and to budget.’
Thomas Clarkson Community involved 85% new build and 15% refurbishment and was delivered in a live school environment, with phasing to minimise disruption to day-to-day running.
The projects include a biomass boiler, solar PV and rainwater harvesting.
