Common flue for continuous-flow condensing water heaters

Rinnai, DHW, domestic hot water, water heater

Rinnai offers a common-flue system to support its range of continuous-flow condensing water heaters. The flue streamlines multiple installations of such water heaters and significantly reduces the cost of installation. The system eliminates the need for individual flue termination on modular banks of water heaters and commercial buffer systems.

Such systems are typically specified in large commercial applications, including factories, hotels, sports arenas and shower blocks in leisure centres and caravan parks.

The coaxial design comprises aluminium alloy for the inner flue pipe and a thermoplastic outer pipe to bring in combustion air.

Heaters are fan assisted so they can be flued vertically or horizontally (or a combination) to a maximum length of 9 m with three 90° bends.
