Exeter Science Park sees first topping out

The first building on the high-profile Exeter Park development has been topped out. This 3-storey, 1100 m2 building has a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and is being built by Interserve. Architect is Lacie Hickie Caley of Exeter.

The ground floor will provide up to 500 m2 for small and medium-sized business, with a focus on attracting science-based users. Developer Eagle One and sister company Blue Cedar Homes will occupy the first floor. The lower-ground floor will include archiving and storage facilities.

Photo-voltaic panels on the roof will reduce the building’s carbon footprint.
