Large-scale evaporative cooling for industry

Evaporative cooler
Evaporative cooling for large industrial applications is provided by the Breezair RPX900 unit.
Seeley International has added to its range of evaporative coolers with the launch of a unit for heavy-duty industrial applications and providing air flows of up to 32 400 m3/h. They are designed for applications with high static pressure and/or where there is complex ductwork. RPX900 coolers provide low-cost, low-energy cooling with minimal maintenance. There are now five Breezair evaporative coolers. RPX900 units are made from marine-grade aluminium, incorporating channel-section corner pillars and mounted on a heavy-gauge base for structural stability. Many components are powder coated for extra corrosion protection and made from materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and galvanised steel. The 3-phase motors are TEFC tropic proof, have an aluminium frame and are made to IP55 with AS 1359 enclosures. The 3-phase starter assembly is prewired and incorporates a dual contactor for the control of high and low speeds. The single-piece water reservoir is of polyethylene and has a capacity of 128 litres.
