Reggiani lights up the Barclaycard Arena

New interior and exterior luminaires for the £26 million redevelopment of the Barclaycard Arena formerly known as the National Indoor Arena were supplied by Reggiani Lighting UK. Lighting designer LADP worked closely with Reggiani’s design team to devise a scheme to provide illumination throughout this sporting and entertainment venue.

For the internal lighting, Reggiani supplied Unisio surface-mounted downlighters in white with 26 W LEDs for entrance and concourse areas.

Special lowLED downlights were used on concourse areas. Medium-beam LowLED downlighters and MiLED downlighters with a wide beam were installed in toilet cubicles and the arena.

Sombra 26 W LED 3000 K asymmetric wallwashers are used under the mezzanine on the concourse floor. Two spherical rotating sections enable the light to rotate by 45° and 356°, respectively, on the axes to keep the light source hidden from view at practically any angle.
