Remeha boilers heat iconic St George’s Hall in Liverpool

Remeha Commercial, boiler, space heating

Liverpool City Council has refurbished the heating system of St George’s Hall, part of the city’s UNESCO designated World Heritage Site, with Remeha boilers. The hall is one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world. Four Gas 210 Eco Pro condensing boilers have been installed in the north plant room.

This Grade I listed-building houses two concert halls and law courts and was built in the early 1800s.

This latest installation of Remeha boilers follows their installation in the south plant room and was carried out by engineers from Liverpool City Council’s plant and maintenance unit.

Ray Black, leader of the unit, commented, ‘Remeha boilers are popular with our engineers as they are easy to install and maintain and outstandingly reliable.’

With the Remeha boilers now operational throughout St George’s Hall, the council can anticipate future energy savings in the region of 30% and reduced maintenance costs.
