Additions to the Icos HE range of boilers from Ideal Boilers modulate down to 10.4 kW and have a variable thermostat for central-heating control that is adjustable from 30 to 82°C.
Ideal Boilers has added two new models to its heat-only Icos HE range of high-efficiency boilers. The Icos HE 30 and HE 36 are both SEDBUK A rated and meet the requirements of the new Building Regulations. Output of the HE 30 is 30 kW and for the HE 36 it is 37 kW. Both boilers modulate down to 10.4 kW and have cast-aluminium heat exchangers. The Icos range now comprises six models with maximum outputs from 12 to 36 kW. Flue options include standard concentric horizontal and vertical flues. Optional 80 mm-diameter twin-pipe flueing offers significantly longer lengths that can be run horizontally or vertically. Both boilers are automatically controlled and have fanned flues. The thermostat for central-heating control is adjustable from 30 to 82°C. A condensate pump kit is available.
